A Day at the Bronx Zoo | Long Island Photographer

So every now and then I like to share a little bit about my own life in my blog. I love for you guys to get to know a little more about me, and I also love to be able to share some of my personal work. Probably something a lot of you don't know about me, but I'm a Vegan and absolutely love animals. Being a vegan, I guess I should have mixed feeling about zoos, but I have to say I really enjoy them. Anyways... I never really even thought that going to the zoo in the middle of the Winter would be a good idea, but it was such a great day! Seeing as how this Winter has been uncharacteristically cold, it was freezing out on the late January day, but with so much walking it was somewhat refreshing.

Then on the other side of the tank they would surface, and I swear, laugh at me. This is the closest I got to getting a good picture of them Blog-Collage-1396032685142Blog-Collage-1396032889674 I've never tried to take pictures of snowflakes before and, as expected, it was harder than I thought. Blog-Collage-1396032995307Blog-Collage-1396033077988Blog-Collage-1396033153607

If any of you lovelys follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a few of these photos there, but I wanted to share the lot of them. I hope you like them, and I'd love to hear what you think, so feel free to comment below! Have a great Friday everyone!
